Leadership

The experience, vision, and commitment that drive SpatialGIS.

President and Chief Executive Officer

Kendrick O. Faison, M.S. GSci

Kendrick O. Faison founded SpatialGIS in 2016 with a clear vision: to bring enterprise-grade geospatial intelligence and IT solutions to government agencies through a company that truly understands government operations. That vision was shaped by more than two decades of federal service across some of the nation’s most critical agencies.

Before launching SpatialGIS, Kendrick served in key roles at the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), the National Geospatial Intelligence Agency (NGA), and the Federal Protective Service (FPS). This breadth of experience gave him firsthand insight into how government agencies operate, the challenges they face, and what it takes to deliver technology solutions that actually work in federal environments.

During his federal career, Kendrick developed the award-winning Survivor Mobile Application Reporting Tool—a solution that demonstrated his ability to identify operational gaps and create technology that addresses real mission needs. This same problem-solving approach now defines how SpatialGIS engages with every client.

Kendrick holds a Master of Science in Geosciences, providing the technical foundation that underlies SpatialGIS’s geospatial capabilities. His educational journey took him through Fayetteville State University and Murray State University—institutions that shaped his commitment to excellence and community impact.

Today, Kendrick leads a growing team of professionals serving the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency, USTRANSCOM, Department of Interior, and other federal clients. Under his leadership, SpatialGIS has earned GSA Schedule holder status and recognition as a trusted partner for government technology initiatives.
